Natural History Museum Internship

Over the summer, I had the opportunity to work with researchers and curators in the herpetology department at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. NHMLA is the second largest museum in the country.

During the 7 week internship, I was able to demonstrate my skills such as personally and socially responsibility, technologically literate and effective communicator. By doing this I was able to prove that I was reliable. I soon got to learn how to dissect and preserve reptiles. I was also responsible for imputing data into the data base and making sure the research room was organized.
